Women Can Make a Difference
Welcome to the Kalamazoo Republican Women's Association
A
We are an active group with our main emphasis being to educate others on the issues: federal, state, and local, as well as elect Republicans.
When you join the KRWA you also become a member of the Republican Women's Federation of Michigan (RWFM), founded in 1925 and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), founded in 1938. The NFRW, with over 100,000 women, is the largest and most active political organization in the United States. By joining the KRWA you will become knowledgeable about Republican political issues and be a voice to promote good government at every level.

The following ladies were elected to serve a two year term each:
Mary Ellen Agar, Past President
(Currently Interim President)
Kathy Eickholt, Secretary
My husband Dave and I moved here from Midland in October, 2011. I worked for Accenture at Dow Chemical and was fortunate to be able to work from home after we moved. I retired in 2015. After we moved here I started a business selling on Amazon and sold that business this past February, which opened up my time to do other things. I blog about depression glass, books and gardening.
Dave and I have been married for 45 years and have two children, both in Texas and one granddaughter. I enjoy reading, gardening and being with friends.
I got a chemistry degree from Aquinas which is where Dave and I met and where we found we like the west side of the state. We were glad to find a home here and have enjoyed the cultural events including the symphony and art museum in Kalamazoo and the sunnier weather. I also have a MBA and have passed the CPA exam but have never practiced as an accountant.
I joined the KGOP because after the 2016 election it was clear that my values align with Republicans, notably the focus on individual liberty, smaller government, which goes along with liberty, and the constitution. I believe the most important challenges for our elected leaders are to get our fiscal house in order, just as was underway in Michigan, border security, international security which includes mutually fair trade and a strong military. I am impressed with the passion our elected folks have for service to individuals, our county, our state and our country.
Bronwyn Haltom, Vice President

Recently, she served as the Western Regional Political Director at The White House. She is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan.
Mary Balkema, Treasurer
Kalamazoo County Treasurer and strong supporter of the Kalamazoo Community.
